COMANDATUBA
ISLAND
The Hotel Transamerica Ilha de Comandatuba is a
place specially recommended for those who like water
sports. It is the only five-star resort in
South America to have a complete infrastructure
for sport
fishing. In fact, during the Blue Marlin and
White Marlin season - from November to March
- the Comandatuba Island is considered the best
place in the world to fish. During this same season,
other main fish in trailing line fishing are Sailfish,
Spearfish, Swordfish. Yellowfin Tuna, Barracuda,
Kingfish, Wahoo and Dourado.

In
order to provide a complete infrastructure,
there are Sea Launches for up to four passengers
with echo sounding, satellite navigation system,
radio station, Penn Rells spools, carbon-fiber
rods, artificial and natural bait (when available),
always accompanied by one captain and one
seaman. Each launch trip gives 6 to 8 hours
of fishing and relaxation. |
